About Lingkod ng Panginoon
Ang Lingkod ng Panginoon (ALNP) or simply Lingkod is a movement of Catholic professionals and working people. It is composed of single men and women who seek fullness of life in Jesus Christ, and in living this life, work to bring others to Himself.
The various activities that Lingkod engages in are aimed to provide support to its members in these areas: one’s personal relationship with God, evangelization and living a radical Christian life.
The activities include prayer meetings, action group meetings, teaching and formation, leadership training, outreaches, social action involvement, and fellowship.
Lingkod Organization
Lingkod is registered as a non-stock, non-profit organization with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the corporate name, The Philippine Foundation of Ang Lingkod Ng Panginoon, Inc. It is likewise registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as tax-exempt donee institution.
Mission Statement
Lingkod has the following five-folve mission:
Community : To live in committed personal relationships with other Christians; to be in an environment where Christian growth is possible.
Conversion : To joyfully give our lives to Jesus Christ and continually come to a deeper personal relationship with Him;
Culture : To faithfully live the commandments of God and His church as well as the common way of life He has given us;
Character : To strive to grow in personal holiness and in the character of God; and
Commission : To boldly proclaim the Good News of God’s Kingdom and work for its spread in our families, workplaces, nation and all other environments we find ourselves in.
Vision
We are single men and women who seek fullness of life in Jesus Christ, to experience it and to live it out. We desire to be God's people and to help build His kingdom. We aim to share this life to others, and so we work to bring many others to Him.
